Comments:
This candle depicts the strength of the cross. From this instrument of death springs life. This life is both green food for the world and beautiful flowers that testify to the glory of God. This life eternal is rooted in the waters of baptism. So too, do we draw refreshment from the waters of baptism, which sustains us not just on the day we were baptized, but throughout our whole lives.
